Pau Santo

Meaning

Pau Santo is wood taken from the Bursera Graveolens tree, one of the most fragrant in the world. It has a sweet aroma of pine cone, mint and lemon and, thanks to its incredible aromatic properties, it has been used as a natural incense for centuries.

How to use Pau Santo:

Light the stick using a flame (candle, lighter, etc.).

Once you can light the Palo Santo, let it burn for 30 seconds. Then, blow hard to put out the flame and leave only a thread of smoke coming out.

If it is for cleaning spaces, walk with the stick around the house/work, spreading the scented smoke throughout the spaces, in all directions.

If you are going to use it for meditation or aromatherapy, place it in a container a few meters away. Breathe in the aroma while meditating, doing yoga or relaxing after a day of work.
